Raised in an environment where bicycling was viewed as a viable means of transportation, it wasn’t until my teenage years that I learned that such notions were outside the norm in American culture in the 1990s. After submitting to and embracing the standards of life that my peers insisted were only hindered by a reliance on bicycles, it wasn’t until years later that a unique business and learning opportunity brought me back to a strong belief in the benefit and convenience of a cycling-oriented lifestyle.
My desires to espouse and promote such a lifestyle only grew, and in 2006 I formed Traffic Cycle Design, LLC.
I am committed to my work, which I take to operate on many levels. I think that the benefits of using pedal-driven cycles as a means of transportation are numerous, and try to focus on harnessing those benefits in all ways possible. I will do my best to provide you with a vehicle whose features directly address your particular needs - whether they be efficiency, maneuverability, comfort, or style.
I love bicycles, and I think that designing them can be an amazing process. I appreciate the many directions that bicycle design has taken throughout its history, and try to draw from the past while remaining dynamic and innovative with respect to developments in the field.
